The rooftop is the ideal place for hotel guests and local community to enjoy outdoor dining amidst an oasis of tranquility and privacy. The large restaurant/bar along the North side includes retractable glass walls and offers wide views of the hills and the Hollywood Sign.
The main seating area is flanked by five ancient olive trees and covered by a vaulted shading canopy made from solar panels at the center while the perimeter of the rooftop provides views of the entire city from Downtown to Santa Monica. Special lighting that is integrated with the landscape and the canopy enhances the festive atmosphere of the setting.

We created landscaped roof patios at the corners of the building's upper floors to provide an optimal integration of indoor and outdoor spaces for the corner suites. These incrementally ascending terraces feature mature trees, and give the hotel a step-up appearance reminiscent of surrounding structures from Hollywood's golden age. The gray stucco facades with deep sitting, alternating, punched window and louver arrangements recall the shape of a checkerboard by accentuating horizontals, verticals and diagonals equally in a non-hierarchical manner. The guestrooms' window arrangement alternates from floor to floor, combining narrow and wide floor-to-ceiling windows for each guestroom. The windows facing Wilcox Avenue feature additional lintel elements that are lit up to glow at night.

The room design is based on maximum integration of the bespoke interiors with the building’s design. As guests spend more time in their rooms, we were able to create an atmosphere of simplicity and authenticity by using natural materials, indirect lighting and signature furniture elements. A built-in, mirror lined whisky cabinet is framed between the two, floor-to-ceiling height windows creating a strong focal point for the guests entering the room. Likewise, a built-in open closet in the entrance hallway in combination with a mirrored coffee section provides additional comfort for the guests. Furniture integrated, indirect lighting creates an atmosphere of solemnity and calm while a glass chandelier over the seating area establishes the room's centerpiece at night. At the second and sixth floor garden suites, generous, lushly planted patios expand the room experience to the outdoors to enjoy the mild California climate.

The bathroom design is simple, practical and clean. The white subway tiles on the walls contrast with the colorful cement tiles on the floor while highlighting the bespoke brass and marble elements such as vanities and showers. A single row of dark gray tiles at the top of the walls delineates the transition to the ceiling and act as a visual reminder of the guestrooms crown molding.
