The remodel of the existing urban house involved a complete reorganization of the property. The owner’s living quarters that had previously been located at the second floor needed to be extended to the ground floor in order to provide garden access.

The heart of the design consists of a large “service wall” that contains kitchen, bathroom and various storage facilities. Kitchen and living room are connected through a series of glazed openings and cabinets are accessible from the living room aswell as from the kitchen.
